Planned Replenishment
Planned replenishment procedures can either be triggered interactively by users or set to run automatically in the background.
The system calculates the replenishment quantity based on the minimum and maximum quantity settings in the master data (Product master (St Type Data) for storage type level or BINMAT for storage bin level replenishment).
The system rounds down the replenishment WT / WMR item quantity to a multiple of the minimum replenishment quantity.
Replenishment Level:
- At the storage type level
- At the storage bin level for the fixed bin
When to Use
- Replenishment before picking starts
- Predictable, scheduled restocking
- Stable demand patterns
- Avoiding picker waiting time during shifts
Trigger:
- When the current stock goes below the minimum quantity
- Interactively via /SCWM/REPL
- Automatically via a background job (most common)
